Digital Masters Australasia has been at the forefront of digital imaging for 23 years. Managing and Distributing Images is rapidly
becoming a headache for everyone involved in digital imaging. For example
we used to have clients who would keep getting the same film scanned every
couple of months because they either lost the files or it was too difficult
to find tham again. Worse off are clients who lose the actual film and have
to pay for reshoots! Many film libraries still provide, inferior 'Dupes'
of original shots because the original is too valuable to send out. Our STOCKCUBE™
Media Asset Management Imaging and OnLine Services provide a range of solutions
to these problems. Digital Masters Australasia STOCKCUBE™ Media Asset Management systems have been in use in various forms since 1985. We started by providing clients with databases of everthing from clip art to plans using HyperCard on the first Mac Plus computers! The STOCKCUBE™ name came about when we built the first STOCK Library on a Macintosh CUBE and so far we have not been sued by either OXO or Maggi! These days our STOCKCUBE™ solutions and services at cover all pricing levels. Entry level is a basic, 'Off the Shelf' Media Asset Management software package, a 'Starter Batch' of scans, installation, basic imaging training, and VIP Imaging and support services. High end solutions include complete networks of computers (Macs or Windows) with a Server, RAID Hard Drive Arrays, Automatic Tape Backup System, Uninterrupted Power Supply, Imaging training and high volume scanning, reprography, Imaging and support services. North Bondi Surf Bathers Life Savers Club We used our digital reprography systems to digitise over 8,000 historic photos, club displays and framed prints, pages of the club reports and historic documnts and created A3 'Master files', A4 'Work files' and an online archive browser.
